Pope Francis on the most important thing that can happen to a person
Posted in Blog, ChristianityAddressing nine boys who received their first communion after confirmation on Sunday at the Parish of St Cyril of Alexandria in Rome, Pope Francis said: ‘The most important thing that can happen to a person is to encounter Jesus: the encounter with Jesus who loves us, who has saved us, who gave his life for us — to encounter Jesus. And we walk to encounter Jesus.’ Could any Christian, from any tradition, disagree with that? And does it not give pause for thought to any seeker after truth and meaning?
